Eastpak Vintage Heuptasje (bag/sac/tasche/sacoche)
About this item
The Eastpak heuptasje (fanny pack) was an essential accessory of the late 80s and early 90s. Built with Eastpak's signature Cordura fabric, these bags were practically indestructible — which is why so many originals are still floating around today.
Vintage Eastpak fanny packs are recognizable by their simpler logo design, single-color Cordura fabric, and chunky plastic buckles. The older models lack the padded backs and fancy compartments of modern versions, but that stripped-down look is exactly what makes them desirable.
When buying, check the zipper — it's the first thing to fail on a 30-year-old bag. The Cordura itself is almost always fine. Original colorways like navy, black, and forest green are the most common; unusual colors or patterns from limited runs carry a premium. Make sure the buckle is original and not a replacement.
