Madonna - True Blue (Vinyl LP)

Madonna’s third studio album, released in 1986, cemented her status as the Queen of Pop. True Blue topped the charts in 28 countries and spawned five singles, including Papa Don’t Preach, Open Your Heart, and La Isla Bonita.

The album showcased a more mature, socially conscious Madonna while retaining the infectious pop hooks of her earlier work. The blue-tinted sleeve photography became one of the decade’s most recognizable album covers.

Very common on the Dutch secondhand market, with copies regularly listed on Vinted, Marktplaats, and eBay. An affordable entry point for Madonna vinyl collectors, with original European pressings on Sire being the most sought-after.
