Widely considered the greatest NES game ever made. Released by Capcom in 1988, Mega Man 2 perfected the run-and-gun platformer formula with eight Robot Masters, tight controls, and one of the best soundtracks in gaming history—Dr. Wily Stage 1 alone is legendary.
The game sold over 1.5 million copies in Japan alone and saved the Mega Man franchise after the modest sales of the original. Its boss-select screen and weapon-copying mechanic became genre-defining templates.
One of the most actively traded NES cartridges on the Dutch secondhand market, with excellent coverage across Vinted, Marktplaats, and eBay. Loose carts are readily available; boxed copies with manual are significantly more valuable.
