Mortal Kombat 3 (Game Gear)
About this item
Mortal Kombat 3 on the Sega Game Gear is one of the rarest titles in the Mortal Kombat franchise. Released in 1995 near the end of the Game Gear's commercial life, it saw a very limited production run — making it significantly harder to find than MK1 or MK2 on the same platform.
Despite the Game Gear's hardware limitations, the port delivered a surprisingly complete roster and the signature fatality system. It's a technical curiosity and a genuine rarity, which is exactly what drives collector interest.
Loose cartridges regularly command €40–€80, with boxed copies pushing well above €100. PAL versions dominate the European market. The scarcity makes this one of the more volatile Game Gear titles — prices can spike when supply dries up, which happens often given how few copies circulate.
