Panzer Dragoon Saga for Sega Saturn is one of the rarest and most valuable RPGs ever released. Sega's 1998 swan song for the Saturn shipped in extremely limited quantities — reportedly only 30,000 copies in the West — making it a white whale for collectors. The four-disc RPG is consistently rated among the greatest games of its generation.

PAL European copies are the rarest of the rare. NTSC-U (US) copies are more common but still command high prices. Japanese copies are the most affordable entry point but lack the English localization. Complete copies with all four discs, manual, and case are what drives the premium — missing even one disc tanks the value significantly.

Disc rot is the biggest risk with Saturn games — inspect every disc for pinholes or clouding when held to light. Verify all four discs are present and match the same region.
