Yabba Dabba Dance

Yabba Dabba Dance is a legendary gabber/happy hardcore compilation from the mid-90s Dutch rave scene. Released on Arcade Records, it compiled some of the hardest and most euphoric tracks of the era into a package aimed squarely at the mainstream — complete with a Flintstones-referencing title that perfectly captured the playful chaos of Dutch hardcore.

These compilations are collectible because they're time capsules of the golden age of gabber. The CD versions sold in huge numbers in the Netherlands but most copies were played to death at house parties and in cars. Finding one with an intact jewel case, unscratched disc, and complete booklet is harder than you'd think.

When buying, confirm which volume you're getting — there were multiple releases in the series. Check the disc surface for scratches, as these CDs lived hard lives. A complete booklet with track listing is a nice bonus. The earlier volumes tend to command slightly more interest from collectors of 90s Dutch dance music.
